Lokesh Meets Samsung Executive Vice-President Young Joe Yun

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh on Friday met Samsung Executive Vice President of Global Public Affairs Young Joe Yun and Global Public Affairs Head Namsoo Park and urged the company to set up a research and development (R&D) centre in Amaravati.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Lokesh said that with the state’s 10 GW Data-Center pipeline as the core, Andhra Pradesh should be made Samsung’s hub in India for a complete AI-Compute stack including Data Centers, Server Manufacturing, and Servicing.

During the meeting, Lokesh highlighted the state’s investor-friendly policies and availability of skilled human resources. He assured full support from the state government for industrial expansion and investments.

The meeting is seen as part of the state government’s efforts to attract global technology companies and boost innovation infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh.
