During the review, the Chief Secretary took stock of the progress of major projects being implemented by the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC), including the Bharat Future City, Zaheerabad Industrial City, Kakatiya Mega Textile Park and other strategic industrial infrastructure initiatives.

MD TGIIC K Shashanka briefed him on the present status of these projects, the infrastructure being created, investment prospects and the timelines for their completion.

The Chief Secretary stressed that the primary objective of the department should be to position Telangana as a preferred investment destination by facilitating industries with world-class infrastructure and a business-friendly ecosystem.

He said that attracting both domestic and global investments is essential for sustaining the State's economic growth and generating large-scale employment opportunities for the youth.

Sanjay Jaju directed the officials to work with a clear focus on achieving the goals envisioned by the government. He emphasised that all departments and implementing agencies should function in close coordination to ensure the timely execution of industrial projects without delays.

He also instructed the officials to regularly monitor the progress of ongoing projects, identify bottlenecks at an early stage and resolve them through effective inter-departmental coordination.

The Chief Secretary noted that flagship projects such as Bharat Future City, Zaheerabad Industrial City and the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park have the potential to transform Telangana's industrial landscape by attracting significant investments and promoting balanced regional development.

He asked the officials to adopt a proactive approach in providing necessary infrastructure and investor facilitation services to ensure the successful implementation of these projects.
