Telangana Govt Allots 5 Acres for Kendriya Vidyalaya in Jagtial

The government ordered for alienation of the government land to an extent of five acres at Chelgal village at free of cost, for establishment of new Kendriya Vidyalaya

Hyderabad: Telangana government has sanctioned five acres of land at Chelgal village in Jagtial for the establishment of Kendriya Vidyalaya, out of the 10 acres requested.

An order to this effect was issued by Lokesh Kumar D.S. Secretary to government.

The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Telangana, has reported that the Jagtial District Collector has submitted the regular proposals for alienation of government land to an extent of five acres at Chelgal village, under possession of WALAMTARI in favor of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan for establishment of new Kendriya Vidyalaya.

The alienation of government land under the civil sector on payment of market value as decided by the government and also informed the basic market and prevailing market value of the land is Rs.21 lakh and Rs.1.05 crore per acre, respectively.

The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration also informed that the proposal of the District Collector, Jagtial was placed before the Telangana Land Management Authority, which resolved to recommend the alienation of the government land for establishment of new Kendriya Vidyalaya.

The government after careful examination of the matter, ordered for alienation of the government land to an extent of five acres at Chelgal village at free of cost, for establishment of new Kendriya Vidyalaya.

The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration and Jagtial district Collector shall take necessary further action in the matter, accordingly.

Responding to the government order, BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind in a post on ‘X’, said, “Congratulations to the people of Jagtial! Telangana government has finally sanctioned five acres of land at Chelgal village for the establishment of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jagtial, out of the 10 acres requested.”

“This is a victory of BJP’s rightful fight to ensure that KV Jagtial comes up at Chelgal, which is more convenient, better connected and best suited for students, instead of the unsuitable locations being suggested by the local MLA out of his own vested interests,” he added.

“Our goal is only half achieved. The BJP will continue to fight for the remaining five acres, because the children of Jagtial deserve the best, not just the bare minimum,” he added.
