Khammam: 48-Year-Old Man Dies, Daughter Injured in Road Accident
The tractor driver fled the scene after the accident.
Nalgonda: A 48-year-old man died and his daughter was seriously injured after a tractor allegedly hit their motorcycle on Shivalayam Street in Kusumanchi of Khammam district on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Sattu Srinivas, a native of Pocharam in Kusumanchi mandal. His 14-year-old daughter sustained serious injuries and was shifted to Government General Hospital, Khammam, for better treatment. Her condition was reported to be serious.
According to police, Srinivas and his daughter were returning to their native village on a motorcycle after attending to some work in Kusumanchi when the accident occurred. Police said the tractor driver was allegedly driving at high speed and negligently.
The tractor driver fled the scene after the accident.
Kusumanchi police registered a case and launched an investigation.
