Kaloji’s Life an Inspiration for Future Generations
Marking Kaloji’s birth anniversary, Kavya, along with Hanamkonda district collector Chahat Bajpai and others, paid floral tributes at his statue at Nakkalagutta in Hanamkonda.
Hanamkonda:Praja Kavi, Kaloji Narayana Rao, inspired people through his writings and his life remains an inspiration for the present generation, noted Warangal MP, Kadiyam Kavya here on Wednesday.
Marking Kaloji’s birth anniversary, Kavya, along with Hanamkonda district collector Chahat Bajpai and others, paid floral tributes at his statue at Nakkalagutta in Hanamkonda.
Kavya said it was a matter of pride that Kaloji’s birth anniversary was observed as Telangana Language Day. “Kaloji had consistently highlighted people’s problems and hardships through his writings and inspired society to remain conscious of public issues.”
His literature and writings, she added, played a significant role in creating awareness among people during the Telangana statehood movement.
Kavya said it was a matter of pride that Kaloji belonged to Warangal. She urged the people to read his writings and literature. She particularly encouraged youngsters to draw inspiration from his thoughts and ideals.
Collector Chahat Bajpai, additional collectors N Ravi and Seshadri, Sahitya Akademi award recipient Ampasayya Naveen, Kaloji Foundation representatives Nagilla Ramasastry and others participated in the programme.
