Kaloji Narayana Rao’s Jayanthi Celebrated Across Erstwhile Karimnagar District

Collectors, officials pay tribute to Kaloji Narayana Rao and recall his contributions through poetry and fight against injustice.

Karimngar: Prajakavi Kaloji Narayana Rao’s jayanthi was officially celebrated across the erstwhile Karimnagar district on Wednesday.

Collectors, additional collectors, police officials and others paid tribute to Narayana Rao by garlanding his portraits.

Collectors B. Satya Prasad of Jagtial and Garima Agarwal of Rajanna-Sircilla participated in celebrations held at their respective collectorates. Additional collector D. Srinivas Reddy attended the event at the Karimnagar collectorate conference hall.

Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas Reddy said Narayana Rao had inspired people through his poems and writings and worked for public needs. He also raised his voice against injustice and suppression.
