HYDERABAD: Experts from the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), conducted interactive sessions on balanced diets, proper nutrition and lifestyle modifications, during an awareness session for city police personnel at Ramakrishna Math on Friday.

The programme was organised following the directions of city police commissioner V.C. Sajjanar. Senior officers, including DCP Rakshitha Krishna Murthy, additional DCP Narsaiah and ACP Yadagiri of Gandhinagar division, attended the event.

The sessions focused on helping police personnel maintain good health despite irregular work schedules and stressful duties.

Inspectors and staff members from various police stations in the Gandhinagar division participated in the programme. Officials highlighted the importance of physical fitness, proper nutrition and healthy living in ensuring efficient public service and overall well-being among police personnel.
