Encourage Students To Utilize Telangana’s 5 PM eVidya Digital Channels: T-Sat CEO to Teachers
Training programme highlights digital content, AI ethics and effective classroom use
Hyderabad: Teachers should encourage students to make regular use of the five PM eVidya digital education channels allotted to Telangana, Bodanapally Venugopal Reddy, CEO of T-SAT and SoFTNET, said on Tuesday during a four-day training programme on digital content creation in Hyderabad. He noted that teachers’ responsibility went beyond creating quality digital content and included ensuring students watched and benefited from it.
Venugopal Reddy said Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was giving special attention to education through increased funding and promotion of digital learning. Prof. Abhay Kumar, in-charge of PM eVidya Digital Channels, said the five channels catered to primary, secondary and higher education. Rajesh Patel, Director, SATCOM, Gujarat, said Telangana had received five of the 200 channels provided by the Centre.
About 100 teachers are attending the programme, which covers video production, copyright, ethical use of AI, script recording, presentation and evaluation.
