Complete Model Solar Village Works by July End: TSREDCO CMD

A high-level video conference was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Musharraf Faruqui to review the progress of the 37 model solar villages being implemented in the TGNPDCL jurisdiction under the State government's prestigious initiative.

The meeting was attended from TGNPDCL Corporate Office at Nakkalagutta in Hanumakonda, by TGNPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Karnati Varun Reddy, along with Superintending Engineers of all ten circles and other concerned officials.

Addressing the meeting, Musharraf Faruqui instructed Superintending Engineers to ensure continuous coordination among REDCO, TGNPDCL, and the implementing agencies so that all works are completed within the stipulated timeline.

He directed officials to immediately resolve all minor issues at the field level and complete grid synchronization, net metering, and other technical processes without any delay. Any technical difficulties should be addressed promptly through close coordination among all stakeholders so that the pace of work is maintained.

Speaking on the occasion, TGNPDCL CMD Karnati Varun Reddy directed officials to expedite the installation of rooftop solar panels on houses in the identified model solar villages. He stated that the required meters are readily available and instructed the Superintending Engineers to complete the works on a war footing.

The CMD further stated that, after the rooftop solar installations are completed in the model solar villages, the next phase would involve the installation of solar pump sets for agricultural pump connections.
