Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy left for Delhi on Tuesday to participate in a Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting in New Delhi on Wednesday. Following the meeting, Revanth Reddy is scheduled to embark on a 10-day tour to the United Kingdom and the United States of America later on Wednesday night till August 30 to pitch for investments in world class education in Telangana.

The CWC meeting, being attended by top leaders including AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states, will formulate a roadmap to corner the Centre on national issues, primarily focusing on student protests and alleged Ram Temple donation irregularities. The meeting will also deliberate on the prevailing political scenario.

Revanth Reddy will leave New Delhi on the night of August 19 and arrive in London on the morning of August 20. He will attend the marriage of AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi’s daughter Fatima Owaisi the same day.

On August 21, he will be visiting the Blavatnik School of Governance at Oxford University and will attend an English Premier League football presentation at Emirates Stadium. On August 22, he will interact with the Cambridge team, visit the Senate House at the University of London, and will tour the London Business School.

On August 23, CM will fly to Boston, USA. The next day, he will conduct meetings at the Harvard University and MIT campuses before travelling to New York. On August 25, the delegation will visit Northeastern University and will hold bilateral talks with representatives from Virginia Tech University.

On August 26, the Chief Minister will attend a ‘Meet & Greet’ event organised by the Indian Overseas Congress in New York, aimed to engage the Indian diaspora and business leaders. For next two days, on August 27 and 28, the delegation will attend the industrial roundtable sessions with top global CEOs, venture capitalists, and multinational firms regarding data centre expansion and manufacturing set-ups in Hyderabad.

On August 29, the Chief Minister will depart from New York and will land back in Hyderabad on August 30.
