Online Registration Reopened for MBBS, BDS Admissions As Only 19,000 Have Registered
Students can register and upload certificates until 6 pm on August 20
Hyderabad: With only 19,000 of the 38,600 NEET-UG qualified candidates registering so far, the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has reopened online registration for MBBS and BDS admissions under the convener/competent authority quota for 2026-27. The decision was taken following requests from students and parents, particularly those from remote areas of Telangana, who could not complete the registration during the earlier window.
The online registration and certificate-uploading process opened earlier on Tuesday and will conclude at 6 pm on August 20. Candidates who have already registered need not apply again.
Health University Vice Chancellor Dr K. Ramesh Reddy told Deccan Chronicle that several students and parents had requested another opportunity to register for the courts. “Only around 19,000 of the 38,600 qualified candidates have registered. We do not know how many more will register after reopening, but we decided to give everyone a fair chance based on the representations received,” he said.
He said the delay in All India Quota admissions had given the university some additional time to reopen the process, adding that some students with good NEET ranks were yet to register. Eligible candidates can complete the process through the KNRUHS admission portal.
