Hyderabad: Teachers will be selected for international exposure and training based on their performance, education secretary Dr Yogita Rana , during her visit to a Teacher Training Centre in Ranga Reddy district on Friday. She interacted with trainees and stressed that the government expected visible change in both classroom instruction and teacher approach following the sessions.

Dr Rana said each teacher must commit to providing quality education to every student, as envisioned by the Chief Minister. She told teachers that classroom practices must improve, with greater use of teaching-learning materials and more clarity in delivering concepts. According to her, each student must be able to understand what is taught, and teachers must be held accountable for this outcome.
