HYDERABAD: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) will sign two preliminary agreements on December 18 with Odisha's Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited (IPICOL) to establish 4,900 MW of thermal and green energy power projects, outgoing chairman and managing director N. Complementing this, SCCL aims to ramp up green energy with 1,000 MW solar plants, 500 MW floating solar, 500 MW wind power, and 500 MW pumped storage projects in Odisha. Agreements for these will also be finalized on December 18.

IPICOL representatives affirmed their readiness to collaborate, aligning the projects with Odisha's power needs. Senior officials from both sides will witness the signing.
