Praneeth Pranav Encroaches Seals Off Lake From Public, Encroaches On Govt Land
The agency is conducting surveys into the alleged encroachment of government land and for constructing boundary walls around the Md. Osmankunta lake: Reports
HYDERABAD: HYDRAA is investigating the alleged encroachment of government land and the buffer zone of a lake in Bachupally by Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao's son Sandeep Rao's venture Praneeth Pranav Grove Park near Gandi Maisamma.
The agency is conducting surveys into the alleged encroachment of government land and for constructing boundary walls around the Md. Osmankunta lake.
Speaking with Deccan Chronicle, a HYDRAA official said: “We got complaints that the developer had encroached on about one acre of government land for their venture, and used that land to build villas on government property. We are still verifying all the information.”
According to the Praneeth Group’s promotional content, the venture is spread over 70 acres of land located about 3 km from ORR Exit No. 5, with 884 triplex villas.
The venture also consists of a lake, which is officially known as Md. Osmankunta. But the developers are presenting the lake as Praneeth Pranav Grovepark Lake on the promotional content and the venture’s master plan.
According to the HMDA’s full tank level (FTL) map, the lake’s area is marked at 6.816 acres.
HYDRAA officials stated that they also received complaints about the developers raising a wall around the lake, which restricts public access. “As it is a public lake, the lake should be accessible to the public,” authorities said.
The official further said “We are still conducting ground-level surveys and inspections. After gathering information, we will call all stakeholders to a meeting where they will disclose all the information, post which we will take necessary action if needed.”
