Agniveer Recruitment Rally From Aug. 29

HYDERABAD: The 1 EME Centre in Secunderabad will conduct unit headquarters quota recruitment rally from August 29 for Agniveer technical, Agniveer tradesman, Class X chef, and outstanding sportsperson categories.

The rally is open to sons of war widows, widows, ex-servicemen and serving personnel, as well as own brothers of servicemen and ex-servicemen. Outstanding sportspersons may apply under the open category for swimming and diving, or volleyball. Candidates must be between 17.5 and 22 years old, with dates of birth between July 1, 2005 and July 1, 2009.

Applicants for Agniveer technical must meet one of the prescribed qualification routes. These include Class XII Science with Physics, Mathematics and English and 50 per cent aggregate, recognised vocational qualifications or Class X with specified marks and technical training through ITI or an approved diploma. Applicants for the chef category need a Class X pass and at least 33 per cent in each of five basic subjects.

Eligible candidates must report at Milkha Singh Stadium, 1 Training Battalion, 1 EME Centre, Secunderabad, by 6 am on August 29.
