Techie Died By Suicide In Raidurgam

HYDERABAD: A 40-year-old software engineer died by suicide at the Qualcomm campus in Raidurgam, police said.
The deceased was identified as Thiruveedi V. Avinash, an HCL employee posted at the company’s office in the Qualcomm building. He is survived by his wife, Jyothi, and two young sons.
According to police, Avinash, who was initially living in Bengaluru with his family for several years, was transferred to Hyderabad two months ago.
Police said Avinash sent a message from the office to his family informing them that he was leaving for home. When repeated phone calls went unanswered, family members contacted his manager, who confirmed that Avinash already left the office.
His brother-in-law later went to the HCL office, where he noticed a crowd gathered inside the campus. On enquiring, he was informed that a person died by suicide. He then identified the deceased as Avinash. Raidurgam police are investigating the circumstances that led to the incident.
