Stalin leaves Abroad With A Message To Cadre
In his epistle to the party cadre on Saturday, before embarking on his journey abroad, Stalin said trials and tribulations were not new to the DMK that had also taken triumphs in its stride without letting them go to the head.
Chennai: Exuding confidence over the return of DMK to power by rising from the ashes like the legendary Phoenix, party president M K Stalin said that party leaders, office-bearers, functionaries, loyalists, supporters and cadre had been unanimous in their assurance to him, ‘we are here, the party is coming back,’ which were words that could vanquish the enemy and had been helping the party to stand majestically for 75 years in the political arena.
In his epistle to the party cadre on Saturday, before embarking on his journey abroad, Stalin said trials and tribulations were not new to the DMK that had also taken triumphs in its stride without letting them go to the head. Since he had realized his leadership responsibility to not be bogged down by electoral setback, he had been visiting the party headquarters, Anna Arivalayam, every day.
It was there his supporters waited to greet him with their confidence and urge him to continue the political journey at a faster pace and by pursuing another path, he said, adding that no other movement had shown the resilience like the DMK, overcoming failure and victories, as the cadre were bound by principles and fraternal love.
Since it was his bounden duty to chart the future course of the party for the next 100 years, he had formed 19 groups of 38 people and asked them to go to each and every constituency to know the people’s mind, he said. Based on the opinions expressed by the party cadre when he met them and from their comments left on the website, he had formed a ‘restructuring advisory committee’ comprising both youth and experienced people to revamp the party.
He had instructed the committee to recommend ways and means for the restructuring party districts and reorganization of affiliated party wings and committees from the branches to the top level, he said, adding there was no other party in the country that could boast of DMK’s organizational strength.
When such a powerful organization arose, it should stand tall like a mountain and shine like the sun, in whose light, the new history of Tamil Nadu for the next century should be written, he said.
Carrying the burden of performing so many tasks, he was embarking on his two week journey abroad though his heart would be in Anna Arivalayam, he said.
