Flights to Abu Dhabi, London Delayed at Chennai Airport

Passengers at Chennai airport faced delays early Friday as two international flights to Abu Dhabi and London were delayed by more than two hours.

An Air Arabia flight to Abu Dhabi, scheduled to depart at 5 am, took off at 7.30 am. The flight had 186 passengers, many of whom had arrived at the airport well in advance and completed all formalities.

Similarly, a British Airways flight to London, scheduled for 5.30 am, also departed at 7.30 am with 268 passengers on board.

Airport officials said the delays were due to late arrival of incoming flights, which affected the outbound schedules. No technical or operational issues were reported at the airport.
