TTD Chief Offers Srivari Sare To Thiruttani Temple

Nellore: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman B.R. Naidu on Saturday offered the traditional Srivari Sare to Lord Sri Subrahmanya Swamy at the Tiruttani temple on the auspicious occasion of Adi Krithika (Krithika star in the Tamil month of Adi). Tiruttani temple chairman Sridhar and Tamil Nadu endowments department joint commissioner Smt. Ramani welcomed the TTD chairman as per temple tradition. Amidst the resonant beats of Mangala Vaadyam (traditional instruments), Naidu presented silk apparel to Lord Subrahmanya Swamy, Who is worshipped as Tanikesan. After having darshan of the Lord along with Goddesses Sri Valli and Sri Devasena, the priests blessed the TTD chairman and presented him with prasadam. Naidu said that he was honoured to present silk clothes to Lord Subrahmanya Swamy on behalf of TTD. He noted that lakhs of devotees throng the Tiruttani shrine on Adi Krithika and wished that all devotees be showered with the Lord’s divine blessings.
