SIR: 4.12 Lakh Enumeration Forms Given on Day-1 in AP
Enumeration drive to cover 4.16 crore voters across AP till July 14
Vijayawada: The Election Commission (EC) has started the special intensive revision of electoral rolls in Andhra Pradesh with a distribution of 4.12 lakh enumeration forms on Monday.
Chief Electoral Officer Vivek Yadav said the SIR in phase-III would cover nearly 4.16 crore electors in all 28 districts and 175 Assembly constituencies.
The enumeration would continue up to July 14. Every elector in the electoral rolls as on May 25, 2026 will be provided a unique Enumeration Form (EF) which will be partially pre-filled. On the first day, 4,12,384 EFs have been distributed; and of them, 4,115 EFs have been digitised.
Over 46,397 booth-level officers, 68,868 booth-level agents, 175 EROs, 1,076 AEROs and 28 DEOs have been pressed into action for the special intensive revision of electoral rolls, which would be done in a smooth, orderly and voter-friendly manner.
The electors can also connect with their BLOs using ‘Book-a-call with BLO’ facility on the ECINet App or dial 1950 along with their STD code for the toll-free helpline.
