Kothapeta MLA Bandaru Satyananda Rao convened a meeting with the students and greeted them at Ravulapalem on Monday.

The MLA said that the government, led by education minister Nara Lokesh paved the way for a bright future for these students through parental encouragement and the hard work of teachers.

He recalled that when he was elected as MLA for the first time, school and hostel infrastructure was inadequate in the constituency. “However, efforts towards school and hostel developments were made after Chandrababu Naidu took over as CM in 1995.”

The MLA highlighted initiatives such as teacher recruitment, reforms in the counselling process and a strong focus on educational development, all of which helped the education system progress.

He praised Lokesh for bringing numerous qualitative reforms in the education system and developing government schools since taking charge as education minister.

The MLA said that efforts to ensure quality teaching alongside teacher recruitment and the implementation of a 100 day plan had yielded remarkable results in the Class X examinations. The Dokka Seethamma Midday meal programme, Sarvepalli Radhakrishna Vidyardhi Mitra kits scheme, etc are being implemented successfully, he said.

The students who were selected IIITs explained how their teachers taught the lessons and made efforts to promote their talents.
