SCR Extends Vizag–Bengaluru Special Train

Visakhapatnam:South Coast Railway has extended the Visakhapatnam–SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Special Express services for five additional trips between July 3 and August 1.

Train No. 08581 will depart from Visakhapatnam at 3.20 pm every Thursday from July 3 to July 31 and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 12.45 pm the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 08582 will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 3.55 pm every Friday from July 4 to August 1 and arrive in Visakhapatnam at 1.30 pm the following day.

The train will halt at Duvvada in both directions. Railway officials said the extension was aimed at meeting passenger demand on the route.
