Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday said boosting state revenue, reducing debt burden and integrating futuristic technology, among other initiatives, is the way forward for the state. Giving a presentation on the Finance department, the Chief Minister said the state will focus on capital projects, develop logistics and attract investments to ensure welfare and good governance.
"Enhance revenue mobilisation by increasing state (state's) own revenue and capex through PPP and VGF (viability gap funding). Reduce burden in order to create fiscal space for developmental activities," Naidu told reporters.
The CM highlighted that AI, quantum computing and all the latest technologies such as data centres, wearables, medtech, drones and others should be integrated to establish Andhra Pradesh as a hub for next-generation technology and innovation.
He listed capital projects as the greenfield capital city of Amaravati, the mega irrigation project Polavaram Project, other irrigation projects, roads, ports, railways, airports and others to create a significant economic impact in the southern state.
Elaborating on other key components of the way forward, the CM emphasised on developing a logistics network to make Andhra Pradesh India's industrial gateway.
The CM noted that the TDP-led government will work towards attracting investments, ensuring welfare and good governance to achieve a "healthy, wealthy and happy society."

Further, the CM asserted that the NDA coalition extended "more welfare than what it promised," saying reviving "Brand Andhra" will make sure that everything will fall in place, among other initiatives.
