Rahul Condemns Alleged Attack On YSRC Cadre
YSRC leader Rahul Chakravarthy Reddy alleged political attacks on party cadres and questioned the government over the DSC recruitment process.
YSRC Youth secretary Rahul Chakravarthy Reddy on Wednesday condemned the alleged attacks on party cadres and accused the alliance government of intolerance towards dissent.
He alleged that Telugu Desam supporters attacked YSRC state youth president Jakkampudi Raja, along with youth and student leaders who were staging a protest at the SAAP office. He described the incident as an indication of what he called “anarchic rule”.
Rahul said YSRC activists would not be deterred by what he described as threats from minister N. Lokesh and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He alleged that Lokesh was selling government teacher posts and said the party would continue to raise allegations against the coalition government.
He also condemned the alleged opening of “rowdy sheets” against those questioning irregularities and challenged the government to order a CBI inquiry into the DSC recruitment process.
