Lokesh Visits 72-Foot Doondi Ganesh Idol

Minister Nara Lokesh visited the 72-foot eco-friendly clay Ganesh idol at Bhavanipuram in Vijayawada and offered special prayers during Navaratri festivities.

Minister for education, IT and electronics Nara Lokesh on Wednesday participated in the Doondi Ganesh Navaratri festivities at Bhavanipuram in Vijayawada and offered special prayers to the 72-foot eco-friendly clay idol of Sri Panchamukha Varasiddhi Maha Ganapati.

The celebrations were organised by the Doondi Ganesh Seva Samithi. Lokesh was given a ceremonial welcome by the organisers before he had darshan of the idol and performed puja. Vedic scholars blessed him, and he posed for photographs with Samithi members.

Doondi Ganesh Seva Samithi founder Doondi Rakesh, MP Kesineni Sivanath, Telugu Desam Vijayawada West in-charge Buddha Venkanna, NTR district TD president Gadde Anuradha and other Samithi representatives attended the event.
