YSRC Chief Jagan Accuses AP CM Of Systematically Dismantling Governance

VIJAYAWADA: YSRC president and former CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday accused Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of “systematically dismantling governance” in agriculture, education, health and policing, while unleashing “vindictive politics through fabricated cases.”
Detailing what he called a “blow-by-blow account” of failures, Jagan Mohan Reddy said farmers, students, employees and political opponents are bearing the brunt of a regime “running under a Red Book constitution.” He charged that while indulging in nepotism, the TDP-led government is spinning false narratives with regard to Tirupati laddus and Parakamani controversies.
The former chief minister said YSRC will launch a mass campaign against the state government’s decision to “hand over public health to private players.” He asserted that the party’s campaign of collecting one crore signatures against privatisation of government medical colleges has received overwhelming support. These signatures will be submitted to AP Governor S. Abdul Nazeer on December 16, while also highlighting weakening of medical care in the state via Aarogyasri as dues remain unpaid by the state government.
On education, Jagan Mohan Reddy blamed the government for the deaths of 29 students due to contaminated food and water. He charged that due to poor maintenance of midday meals certain students are forced to carry lunch boxes from their homes. Fee reimbursement arrears are piling up, he pointed out.
The former CM said farmers are in deep distress, as they have been denied MSP, input subsidy, crop insurance and timely support.
He went on to accuse Chandrababu Naidu of misusing institutions to close cases against himself, while foisting false cases against YSRC leaders—from the Pinnelli brothers to Jogi Ramesh and others. He also alleged double standards on the VSP issue, saying the NDA coalition government has failed to pursue the demand for captive mines for efficient running of the steel plant.
Jagan Mohan Reddy reminded people about the ruling coalition Super Six promises ahead of the elections, while underlining that government employees have been cheated by withholding of dearness allowance arrears, medical reimbursement and PRC benefits.
