Vijayawada:All is set for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-PG (NEET-PG) 2026, with nearly 18,700 candidates expected to appear at 76 examination centres across Andhra Pradesh on Sunday.

Health secretary G. Veerapandian issued a memo outlining arrangements at the examination centres and instructed District Collectors, Superintendents of Police and other officials to ensure smooth conduct of the examination.

The health department has designated NTR University of Health Sciences registrar Sai Sudheer as the State nodal officer.

District authorities have been asked to make arrangements for traffic management, deployment of jammers, uninterrupted power supply and maintenance of law and order. They have also been directed to ensure frisking of candidates, special checks for unauthorised devices, police support and cyber-security measures at the examination centres.
