Massive 80-Member Hunt For Tiger

Kakinada: As many as 80 personnel of different wings of the forest department, including Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam, Srisailam, Rampachodavaram and other places, are vigorously searching to catch the tiger.
According to the forest officials, the tiger is currently moving within the Polavaram Project forest area. The officials are identifying the movements of the tiger through its satellite collar. Polavaram district forest officer Siva Kumar Gangal said that all the personnel are working round-the-clock to capture the tiger, and expressed hope that it will be caught soon. The tiger moved in Nelakota and Pudipallil, and the special Hanuman Teams are searching for it. The higher officials of the department are directing the personnel in the operation. The wildlife protection team, which came from Bengaluru, has also participated in the search operations. Gangal advised local residents to avoid travelling outdoors at night.
