Har Ghar Tiranga Rallies Held Across Eluru, Polavaram, West Godavari
The rally began at the Indoor Stadium and passed through Janmabhoomi Park, the bus stand, fire station and DEO office before concluding at the Indoor Stadium.
Kakinada:A Har Ghar Tiranga rally was held in Eluru on Thursday, with around 1,200 students participating and carrying a 100-foot national flag.
Eluru collector Vetri Selvi, SP Kishore, joint collector Abhishek Gowda, assistant collector Sravan and others flagged off the rally and participated in it on bicycles.
The rally began at the Indoor Stadium and passed through Janmabhoomi Park, the bus stand, fire station and DEO office before concluding at the Indoor Stadium.
Collector Selvi urged the people to hoist the national flag atop their homes as a symbol of national unity and integrity. She called upon citizens to participate in building a Viksit Bharat and join the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.SP Kishore said the country had gained Independence by driving the British out. He called upon the people to work together in a spirit of nation-building.
In Polavaram district, a Har Ghar Tiranga rally was held from the ITDA office to Ambedkar Centre under the leadership of collector Dinesh Kumar and others. Kumar urged citizens to plant saplings at their homes to protect the environment.
In West Godavari district, a Har Ghar Tiranga rally was organised in Kopalle village of Kalla mandal under the leadership of collector Nagarani. She urged people to focus on environmental protection and cleanliness.
Nagarani planted saplings at the ZP High School along with students.
