Jagan Alleges Conspiracy Against BC Leaders, Attacks ‘Red Book’ Politics in Kurnool Jail
He said no government would remain in power forever and warned that the “seeds sown by the present government would turn into poisonous trees” in future.
Kurnool:YSRC president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday accused the alliance government of pursuing “vindictive politics” against BC leaders and implementing a “Red Book Constitution” in Kurnool district jail.
Jagan Mohan Reddy visited the Kurnool Central Jail after obtaining a mulakat to meet Alur MLA Virupakshi, who is lodged in the prison.
Speaking to the media, the former CM alleged that some prison staff deliberately made him stand behind the jail grills and photographed him in an attempt to humiliate him. “They tried to insult me despite the fact that I am a former CM,” he said.
When he questioned the jail staff about photographing him from behind the grills, they reportedly told him that they had received orders from the higher authorities.

Jagan Mohan Reddy alleged that the government was targeting BC leaders by filing cases against them. Referring to the case involving the son of former minister Seediri Appalaraju, he alleged that a motorcycle accident had been turned into a conspiracy case and that the youth was sent to jail.
He alleged that a case had been registered against Chintada Ravi for his alleged attempt to kill a woman sub-inspector. He also claimed that “illegal cases” had been foisted on Guntur-based leaders Mustafa and Karumuri Sunil.
Jagan Mohan Reddy met MLA Virupakshi during the mulakat. His arrival drew a crowd of YSRC supporters and party workers outside the jail.
