Devotee Offers Rs 20 Seeking Mother-in-law's Death

Anantapur: An unusual message allegedly written by a women devotee on a ₹20 note found in the hundi of the Sri Subramanyeswara Swamy Temple at Pampanur village in Atmakur mandal in Anantapur district has gone viral on social media.
According to sources, volunteers counting offerings at the temple recently found the currency note carrying a handwritten plea to Lord Subramanyeswara. In the note, the woman allegedly appealed to Lord Subramanyeswara to end the life of her mother-in-law, claiming she had been subjected to harassment for several years.
Temple authorities said the devotee had not mentioned her name or any personal details in the note.
The message drew widespread attention after photographs of the note surfaced online, with many expressing surprise at the unusual manner in which the devotee conveyed her grievance. Temple committee members said they were astonished by the contents of the note.
