CM Releases CBN@361 Degrees – Polymath in Singapore Receives Global Award
CBN@361 Degrees traces CM’s vision, reforms and development-focused approach
Vijayawada: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday released CBN@361 Degrees – Polymath, a book chronicling his leadership journey and governance philosophy, at a special event organised by the Kakatiya Cultural Association in Singapore.
Naidu presented the first copies of the book to Shilpak Ambule, India’s high commissioner to Singapore, in the presence of members of the Telugu diaspora and distinguished guests.
Authored by Shakamuri Srinivasa Prasad and translated into English by retired IAS officer KV Satyanarayana, the publication offers an in-depth examination of Naidu’s decisions and initiatives across various phases of his political and administrative career.
The book analyses his approach to governance, economic development and long-term planning, highlighting his role in shaping Andhra Pradesh’s development agenda.
Prasad said Naidu’s leadership style and decision-making reflected the vision-driven governance models demonstrated by internationally acclaimed leaders such as former Singapore prime minister Lee Kuan Yew and former New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern. He noted that Naidu’s emphasis on strategic planning, economic growth and the development of Amaravati as a world-class capital city underscored his forward-looking leadership.
Former AP real estate regulatory authority (AP RERA) chairman Ramanath observed that the book sheds light on several lesser-known aspects of Naidu’s leadership and governance philosophy. Drawing on observations and insights, the publication presents a comprehensive account of Naidu’s administrative style and decision-making process, he said.
The Kakatiya cultural association conferred the Global Polymath award on the CM in recognition of his contributions to public administration and development. The association also presented him a commemorative silver coin issued to mark the birth centenary celebrations of Singapore’s founding leader, Lee Kuan Yew.
