CM Naidu To Visit Prakasam, Hand Over Pattadar Passbooks
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit Prakasam district to distribute pattadar passbooks and address a decades-old land dispute involving 1,301 farmers.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit Prakasam district on Friday and distribute Mee Bhoomi-Mee Hakku (Your Land-Your Right) pattadar passbooks to farmers.
This will be part of CM’s target of handing over 4.58 lakh pattadar passbooks during October.
According to a press release, Naidu will specifically visit Narsingolu village in Jarugumalli mandal in an attempt to resolve the decades-old Garbha Kandrike dispute involving 2,915 acres of land spread across eight villages in four mandals. The Chief Minister is expected to announce removal of the disputed status and hand over the land to 1,301 farmers, along with pattadar passbooks.
The land is spread over villages Ilavara and Vennuru in Kondapi mandal; Pachava, Vardinenipalem, Narsingolu, and K. Bitragunta in Jarugumalli mandal; Obannapalem in Naguluppalapadu mandal; and Kalikivaya in Singarayakonda mandal.
The CM will leave Amaravati in the morning and reach Narsingolu. He will discuss with farmers their land-related concerns. Around noon, he will address a public meeting on Mee Bhoomi-Mee Hakku and distribute the pattadar passbooks.
Subsequently, he will hold a meeting with party leaders and cadres. He is scheduled to leave Prakasam district and reach Amaravati at around 5:30 p.m.
