Chilakaluripet: A man was killed after his motorcycle was hit by a speeding car in Chilakaluripet on Monday night. The deceased was identified as Tanniru Sri Hari, the driver of Andhra Pradesh Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar.

The accident occurred while Sri Hari was travelling from Chilakaluripet towards Cheruvu Road. According to preliminary information, he was taking a turn on his Pulsar motorcycle when a speeding car collided with his bike.

Sri Hari died on the spot due to the impact. His body was shifted to a government hospital for postmortem examination.

The police registered a case and launched an investigation.
