Chief Minister and Lokesh Congratulate IPS Ranker Uday Krishna Reddy
Reddy’s rise has resonated deeply, especially among aspirants from rural and underprivileged backgrounds, many of whom now see his story as a beacon of hope.
Nellore: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and IT minister Nara Lokesh congratulated M. Uday Krishna Reddy, who secured the 350th rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination, paving his way into the prestigious Indian Police Service (IPS).
Reddy’s achievement is especially inspiring as he hails from Ullapalem, a remote village in Prakasam district. He joined the Andhra Pradesh Police Department as a constable in 2013. In 2018, he resigned from his job to prepare full-time for the civil services—a decision that has now borne fruit.
Taking to social media, the Chief Minister said, “Uday Krishna Reddy’s journey from a constable to IPS officer proves that no dream is too big when backed by courage and relentless hard work. His story is a testament to the power of determination.”
Lokesh also shared his appreciation for Reddy’s discipline and commitment, encouraging other aspirants to draw inspiration from his path-breaking success.
