Ayyanna Calls On Youth To Enter Politics For Social Service
AP Speaker Ayyanna Patrudu urged youth to enter politics and public life, as 858 students visited the Assembly under the Vignana Yatra.
Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu on Wednesday has called upon the youth to enter politics and public life to serve society.
The AP Assembly’s Vignana Yatra, aimed at creating awareness among students about the functioning of legislatures and democratic values, continued to draw students. As many as 858 students from different schools witnessed the Assembly proceedings live on Wednesday.
With the latest visits, 1,117 students from 16 schools have visited the Assembly over the past two days. The students expressed happiness at being able to watch the proceedings and gain first-hand exposure to the functioning of the legislature.
During the programme, 120 students of Gunadala Next Gen School met Ayyanna Patrudu and Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishna Raju. Interacting with the students during the Assembly recess, Ayyanna Patrudu answered their questions and clarified their doubts about legislative proceedings and public life.
Ayyanna Patrudu urged young people not to confine themselves to studies, employment and family life but to consider entering politics to contribute to society and public service.
MLAs Kamineni Srinivas and Bonda Uma, along with school teachers, also participated in the programme.
