Ashtabandhana Mahasamprokshanam Begins At Devuni Kadapa Temple
Ashtabandhana Mahasamprokshanam began at the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy temple in Devuni Kadapa with Vedic rituals following Agama traditions.
The Jeernoddharana Ashtabandhana Mahasamprokshanam at the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy temple in Devuni Kadapa began on Monday with religious fervour and adherence to Agama traditions.
On the first day, temple priests performed several Vedic rituals, including Manonmana Pramana Shanti Homam, Kumbha Sthapana, Panchagni Pranayanam and Sattumora, from 8 am. Special Vedic rituals will be conducted at the Yagasala at 6.30 pm.
On August 25, the rituals will begin at 7.30 am with Chatushthanarchana, Ekashiti Kalasa Snapana, Murthi Homam and Ashtabandhanam. In the evening, Sayyadhivasam, Tattva Homams, Shanti Homam and Sattumora will be performed from 6 pm.
On August 26, Chatushthanarchana, Murthi Homam and Prayashchitta Homam will be conducted from 7 am. The Maha Poornahuthi, Mahasamprokshanam and Kalakarshana rituals will be performed from 9.45 am to 11.30 am under the auspicious Sravanam star and Tula Lagna, as prescribed by Agama traditions.
Devotees will be allowed to have darshan of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy after the completion of the Mahasamprokshanam.
