Srikakulam: Woman, Son Die After Consuming Pesticide-Laced Milk
The woman was identified as Meenakshi, while her children were identified as Gayatri and Kuldeep. According to preliminary reports, Meenakshi consumed milk mixed with pesticide and gave the same milk to her children.
Srikakulam: A 29-year-old woman and her two children fell seriously ill after consuming pesticide-laced milk in Chilakapalem of Etcherla mandal in Srikakulam district.
The woman was identified as Meenakshi, while her children were identified as Gayatri and Kuldeep. According to preliminary reports, Meenakshi consumed milk mixed with pesticide and gave the same milk to her children.
Family members noticed the three vomiting and immediately rushed them to a hospital for treatment. Meenakshi and Kuldeep died while undergoing treatment, while Gayatri is said to be in critical condition.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. They are looking into all possible angles to ascertain the circumstances and exact reason behind the incident.
