Parvathipuram Manyam: Herd of 8 Elephants Damage Maize Crop

Parvathipuram Manyam: A herd of eight elephants was spotted roaming through maize fields on the outskirts of Yerra Samantha village in Makkuva mandal of Parvathipuram Manyam district on Tuesday evening.

The elephants entered the agricultural fields and damaged the maize crop, leaving farmers worried about the loss of their produce.

Farmers expressed deep anguish over the crop damage and said repeated elephant movement in the area has become a major concern. They urged the forest officials to take immediate measures to prevent elephants from entering agricultural fields and protect their crops.
