AP Appoints CEOs To Reconstituted Zilla Praja Parishads
Andhra Pradesh has appointed CEOs and Deputy CEOs to reconstituted Zilla Praja Parishads following the formation of 28 districts to ensure administrative functioning.
The Andhra Pradesh government has appointed Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and Deputy Chief Executive Officers (Deputy CEOs) to Zilla Praja Parishads following their reconstitution after the formation of 28 districts in the State.
The Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department issued the orders through G.O.Rt. No. 973, dated October 10, 2026, relaxing the existing ban on transfers to meet administrative requirements and ensure the functioning of the reconstituted Zilla Praja Parishads.
P. Kiran Kumar, Project Director of the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Srikakulam, has been posted as CEO of the Vizianagaram Zilla Praja Parishad. K. Kishore Kumar, Assistant Project Officer (Monitoring and Evaluation), DWMA, East Godavari, has been appointed CEO of the Polavaram Zilla Praja Parishad.
D. Satyanarayana, Swarna Gramam-Swarna Ward Officer in ASR district, has been appointed CEO of the Anakapalli Zilla Praja Parishad, while G. Ramana, Gazetted Instructor at Samalkot, will head the West Godavari Zilla Praja Parishad.
M. Krishna Mohan, Executive Director of APMSIDC, has been posted as CEO of the Eluru Zilla Praja Parishad. P. Suseela, Executive Director of State Fibernet Limited, will take charge as CEO of the NTR Zilla Praja Parishad.
G. Joseph Kumar, Project Director of DWMA, Prakasam, has been posted as CEO of the Markapuram Zilla Praja Parishad. S. Madhusudhan, Project Director of DWMA, Kakinada, will head the SPSR Nellore Zilla Praja Parishad, while Shobhan Babu, Project Director of DRDA, Tirupati, has been appointed CEO of the Tirupati Zilla Praja Parishad.
P. Urmila Devi, Executive Director of SAC, has been posted as CEO of the Nandyala Zilla Praja Parishad. B. Sudhakara Rao, Director of SERP, has been appointed CEO of the Parvathipuram Manyam Zilla Praja Parishad in his existing pay scale until further orders.
The government has also appointed Ch. Vijayalakshmi as CEO of the Bapatla Zilla Praja Parishad and Ch. Durga Prasad as CEO of the Palnadu Zilla Praja Parishad. The earlier posting order concerning Durga Prasad has been cancelled.
G. Venkata Subbaiah has been posted as CEO of the Sri Sathya Sai Zilla Praja Parishad, while P. Vasudeva Rao will head the Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) Zilla Praja Parishad. Both will continue in their existing pay scales until further orders.
Among the Deputy CEO appointments, Y. Samatha, District Panchayat Officer of Sri Sathya Sai district, has been posted as Deputy CEO of the Anantapur Zilla Praja Parishad.
K. Raj Kumar, who was serving as Deputy CEO of the Visakhapatnam Zilla Praja Parishad, has been transferred to Anakapalli. E. Sandeep, who was serving in Anakapalli, has been posted to Visakhapatnam, with the earlier transfer orders cancelled.
K.L. Prabhakar Rao, District Panchayat Officer of Bapatla, has been appointed Deputy CEO of the Annamayya Zilla Praja Parishad.
In another change, M. Nageswara Rao, Project Director of MEPMA, Tirupati, has been transferred from the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department and posted as Project Director of DRDA, Tirupati.
