Andhra Pradesh: Traffic Diversions For CM’s Veligonda Visit

NELLORE: Traffic diversions will be enforced in parts of Markapuram district on Monday, August 31, in view of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to the Poola Subbaiah Veligonda Project, Markapuram DSP U. Nagaraju said.
The diversions will be in force from 5 am to 3 pm, and motorists have been advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
Vehicles travelling from Guntur towards Atmakur should take the Giddalur-Nandyal route before reaching Atmakur. Traffic from Devarajugattu towards Chinna Dornala will not be permitted during the period.
Vehicles travelling to or from Srisailam have been asked to avoid Dornala town and use the bypass road. Those heading towards Atmakur should take the Giddalur-Nandyal route.
Similarly, vehicles travelling from Atmakur towards Guntur or Srisailam should proceed via Nandyal and Giddalur.
The DSP appealed to motorists to cooperate with the traffic police and use the designated alternative routes during the Chief Minister’s visit.
