Andhra Pradesh: Rural Cricket Talent Hunt For Young Players

ANANTAPUR: The Rural Development Trust (RDT) will conduct a Rural Cricket Talent Hunt from August 31 to September 5 across Anantapur and Sri Sathya Sai districts to identify promising players in the U-15 and U-18 boys’ and girls’ categories and provide professional training at the Anantapur Sports Academy (ASA).
RDT's sport for development,director, P. Sai Krishna, said female players in the U-15 and U-18 categories who have not played beyond the district level are eligible. Male players in the two age groups who have not played at any level can also participate.
Participants must submit their Aadhaar cards and date-of-birth certificates during registration, which will be held on the day of the talent hunt. Players are expected to attend the selection process in their respective local areas.
Girls’ selections will be held at MGM School, Hindupur; Government Degree College, Kadiri; Railway Ground, Guntakal; Government High School, Kalyandurgam; RDT Sports Centre, Dharmavaram; and RDT Sports Centre, Anantapur Sports Academy.
RDT has invited eligible players to participate in the talent hunt and showcase their skills.
