Advanced Medical Technologies Commissioned At SSSIHMS Whitefield

ANANTAPUR: Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS), Whitefield, Bengaluru, has commissioned several advanced medical technologies to strengthen its healthcare services.

R.J. Rathnakar, managing trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, inaugurated the facilities. The newly installed equipment, procured over the past few months across multiple specialties, represents an investment of about `6.76 crore.

According to hospital authorities, the technologies are aimed at enhancing patient care, clinical excellence, medical education and operational efficiency. The facilities will provide patients access to advanced medical care free of cost while strengthening the institution’s capabilities in clinical services, research, training and healthcare delivery.

The project includes equipment funded by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and through support from philanthropic partners and corporate social responsibility initiatives, including SBI Mutual Fund Foundation, GE Vernova through United Way Bengaluru and Happy Reliable Surgeries Pvt. Ltd.

Representatives of the institution said the initiative reflects the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust’s continued commitment to providing world-class healthcare services free of charge in line with the vision of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Hospital officials said the introduction of advanced technologies would further improve treatment outcomes and enable doctors and healthcare professionals to serve patients more effectively while upholding the principles of compassion, selfless service and equal access to quality healthcare.
