ACB Court Extends Judicial Remand To Seven Liquor Scam Case Accused Up To June 3
The accused asked the court to give permission to speak to their family members, the court agreed to allow them to speak to their family members for half-an-hour on humanitarian grounds
Vijayawada: The ACB court has extended the judicial remand to the seven accused in the AP liquor scam case up to June 3, as the remand period previously imposed ended here on Tuesday.
The AP CID’s special investigation team sleuths produced the accused before the court which in turn extended their judicial remand after reviewing the case.
The accused include Kasireddy Rajasekhar Reddy, Dhananjaya Reddy, Krishna Mohan Reddy, Sajjala Sridhar Reddy, Chanakya, Pyla Dilip and Balaji Govindappa. They all were lodged in the district jail in the city.

Moreover, the SIT sleuths filed a petition in the court seeking custody of Dhananjaya Reddy and Krishna Mohan Reddy for a week to grill them in the case. The petition is likely to be taken up for hearing on Wednesday.
On the other hand, the ACB court has given permission to the Enforcement Directorate to take deposition of the main accused in the liquor scam case Kasireddy Rajasekhar Reddy and directed the NTR district collector to give proceedings accordingly.
