India is Safest Destination for Foreign Investments: Chandrababu Naidu
Naidu is optimistic about India's economy, predicting it will be the third-largest globally in two years, crediting PM Modi's leadership and vision.
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has asserted that India is “the safest and the most preferred destination for foreign investments.”
Inaugurating the India Lounge established under the theme 'Partner with India’ at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Tuesday, Naidu said countries around the globe were looking to India as it was undergoing rapid transformation. He called upon all stakeholders to work together as Team India, driven by the spirit of ‘Nation First.’
He maintained that India was transforming rapidly into a strong and resilient economy and it would become the world’s third largest economy within the next two years and would reach “top position” by 2047.
Naidu underscored the importance of creation of wealth for development and said the state government was aiming at enhancing the quality of life for all sections of society. WEF, he said, was providing an excellent platform to learn how the world was progressing. “Green energy and digital infrastructure are currently receiving major global attention.”
The CM would have a hectic schedule on the third day of WEF. He would interact with the CEOs of top companies and take part in the session on industrial progress at the Congress Centre. He will also attend the discussion on regenerative food systems, to be held under the aegis of AP Community Managed Natural Farming.
He would deliver the keynote address in the session on Trillions of Dollars-AI Movement Transforming Global Economy, to be held under the aegis of Bloomberg.
