PM’s Adviser Tarun Kapoor Gets 1-Year Extension

According to an order issued by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, the extension will take effect from June 10, 2026

NEW DELHI: Former bureaucrat Tarun Kapoor has been granted a one-year extension as adviser to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to an order issued by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, the extension will take effect from June 10, 2026.

Kapoor, a 1987-batch IAS officer of the Himachal Pradesh cadre, was appointed as adviser to the Prime Minister in June 2024.
