This is probably a good news for Jio users. Reliance Jio has recently unveiled a new offer on the JioFi router. The JioFi device, which originally comes with a price tag of Rs 999, can be grabbed at no cost under the new scheme.
The telecom operator is offering a free JioFi device with an additional data of 100GB, to customers purchasing the all-new Google Home devices from a Reliance retail store. Google recently unveiled the Google Home and Home Mini smart speakers in India. Both Google Home and Home Mini are capable of listening to voice commands and are powered by the Google Assistant. The new speakers are available for purchase exclusively via Flipkart initially while the offline sales will begin soon.
Under the scheme, the 100GB free 4G data will be credited in the form of 10 vouchers to the user’s MyJio account each with 10GB data benefit. Moreover, it will be valid for a year from the date of credit. Do note that each Google JioFi data voucher can be redeemed only via the MyJio App installed on the device of the eligible user. This scheme is applicable only for prepaid customers.
Additionally, to activate the free JioFi device, users will have to spend for a first time recharge pack of Rs 149 and Rs 99, if not a Jio Prime member. The free 100GB data will then be credited to the user’s MyJio account within 48 hours.
