Pakistani women cricketers take to Twitter to laud India skipper Virat Kohli
Centurion: The appreciation and admiration for Virat Kohli seems to have no boundaries as the Indian cricket team skipper received praise from Pakistani women cricketers after he scored his 35th ODI hundred to complete India’s 5-1 ODI series win against South Africa in Centurion on Friday.
Kohli scored an unbeaten 129 off 96 balls as he went on to score record-breaking 558 runs in the six-match ODI series against the Proteas. Such was his dominance, that Kohli, who became the fastest to complete 17,000 runs in international cricket, scored three hundreds in space of six matches and finished 235 runs ahead of the second highest run-getter of the series, Shikhar Dhawan (323 runs).
No wonder, the cricket fraternity went gaga over him and the Pakistani women cricketers were no exception.
