Virat Kohli goes gaga over wife Anushka Sharma after record ODI series win vs Proteas
Centurion: Virat Kohli etched his name in the record books as he scored his 35th ODI hundred in India’s historic 5-1 win in a six-match ODI series against South Africa in Centurion on Friday. The Indian skipper, who scored 558 runs in the series, also became the highest run-scorer in an ODI bilateral series.
While Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav played a big role in India’s dominance, it was Kohli leapfrogged everyone to win well-deserved the Man of the Match and Man of the Series awards.

Kohli credited wife Anushka Sharma for his success as he spoke of role of people who contribute a lot off the cricket field.
"Well, look it has been a rollercoaster tour till now. A lot is done off the field. I think people who contribute off the field, people that are close to me, they deserve a lot of credit as well. My wife has been keeping motivated throughout. She deserves a lot of credit for this,” said the Indian skipper during the post-match presentation ceremony.

“She's been criticised a lot in the past. But she's one person who's kept me going throughout the tour when the times have been tough and I am really grateful for that. So, it is all about being in a good zone and as I said, you need good people around you to keep you there,” he added.
