'How do you know when you're in love?': Tweeters can't handle professor's response
How do you know when you're in love? Not everyone can unlock the answer to that million dollar question.
However, one professor who was recently asked that in his class had an epic response that has thousands of heart's melting after his story went viral.
51-year-old Dan West is an assistant professor at Ohio University. He was giving a lecture on Introduction to Human Communication, which was looking into love and relationships.
One of his students reportedly asked: "How do you know when you're in love?"
West responded, "It just hits you, you can’t expect it and you can’t plan for it."
He went on to give an example of it by sharing a personal story. He talked about his wife before they married in 1993.
"We had just come from a movie and stopped by a grocery store so I could buy some food for the next day," he revealed. "We were looking at ice cream and as I watched her choosing I realised that I was going to be buying groceries with her for the rest of my life."
Another student in his class shared his sweet story on Twitter.
Today somebody asked my professor how he knew he wanted to marry his wife & he said, “I took her to the grocery store to get ice cream & while she was picking out a flavor, I realized she was who I wanted to grocery shop w for the rest of my life..”ðŸ˜Â
